Terms and conditions
The agreement between you and Drive Legal USA. Last updated 1 September 2026.
What we are
Drive Legal USA is a private company. We are not a law firm, we are not a government agency, and we are not affiliated with or operated by any government agency. Nothing we provide is legal advice or tax advice. If you need either, speak to a qualified professional.
What we do
We prepare vehicle registration paperwork and submit it to the state of Montana, and we provide the related services you order, such as forming a Montana LLC or arranging postage. We act as your agent in doing so.
What we cannot promise
We cannot control how long the state takes to process a filing, and we cannot control the post. Timescales given on this site are based on experience and are not guarantees. We cannot promise a particular outcome where the decision belongs to the state.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about yourself and the vehicle
- Send the documents we ask for, and sign what needs signing
- Tell us promptly if your address or circumstances change
- Hold valid insurance before driving, which you arrange yourself
If information you give us is wrong or incomplete, work may be delayed or have to be redone, and additional charges may apply.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and are quoted in full before you pay. Some charges depend on the vehicle, such as its age or value, and these are shown to you before payment. Charges that arise after your order, such as international postage or renewals, are described on our pricing page.
Cancelling
See our refund policy.
Liability
We are responsible for doing our work with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our control, including state processing times, postal delays, or information you gave us that was incorrect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Montana, United States.
